Ok, so this place is funky. Indoor pool and outdoor mineral water rock tubs. We stayed indoors because it was windy. We spent 90 minutes soaking. This place was built in 1928 and somehow its still standing. Our $10 fee was worth it. Stop in if you find yourself on Hwy 31. The office staff was friendly and helpful.
It was nice till the naked women came. This was before noon, I thought they had hours at night. We left soon after their arrival
I stayed in one of the Cinder/concrete duplexes. It was very nice. The hydrothermal floor heat is spectacular.. wish they had it in the bathhouse.
An amazing place. We just camped in our van. Very affordable. One night turn into two. The hot springs are fantastic and very rejuvenating for tired travelers . we also found some beautiful blue agate and obsidian stones in the area.
Good value for the accommodation.
Ok, so I would definitely give this a 4.5/5 And it only loses the .5 for the temp of the pools, which can vary seasonally. The outdoor pools were too cool to be in for very long with the cold weather. The fill pipes were not supplying enough hot water to keep the temps up. I would have loved to be in the rock pools under the stars but the bathhouse was a nice place.
Bring sandals for the bathhouse as the cold floors are vicious coming out of the warm pool.
Bring coffee!

Would have liked to have known there was no AC. The listing of a "bathroom" did not include a shower or tub - just a toilet and sink. You are supposed to use the shower house. The room smelt of propane - we had to turn it off. The outdoor spring "pools" were cute and clean. Nice to be under the stars. I think it was very overpriced for what it was - shabby, minimal and hot.
